Dear campus community,
In today's bargaining session we reached a Tentative Agreement on Faculty Development. The Administration also gave us
counter-proposals on Housing and Promotion & Course Assignment. We also presented a counter-proposal on Compensation.
Both current Compensation proposals are structured as follows: one-time bonuses upon ratification, with a raise in
Sept. 2024 and another raise in Sept. 2025.
The Union's proposal:
-Bonuses: $1,500 for QALs; $3,000 for benefits-eligible NTTs
-Raises: 12% in Sept. 2024; 7% in Sept. 2025
The Administration's proposal:
-Bonuses: $1,500 for QALs; $2,000 for AYALs; $2,500 for RTLs; and $3,000 for Senior Lecturers
-Raises: 5% in Sept. 2024; 5.25% in Sept. 2025
