22nd Bargaining Update

Dear campus community,

In today's bargaining session the Administration gave us a counter-proposal on Compensation. Although the Administration
showed some movement, we will continue to advocate for wages that reflect our contribution to the University and the cost
of living in the area. Next week, we will present a counter-proposal on Compensation.

This week, we presented the President with a petition, where more than 500 people called on the President to take this
compensation negotiation seriously. We urge you all to continue to make your voices heard to show the Administration
that this is one of our top bargaining priorities.

We are meeting again next Thursday, 2/1. We are requesting counter-proposals from the Administration on Titles,
Promotion & Course Assignment; Performance Evaluations; and Housing.

Best,
The Union Bargaining Team
(Brian Buckley, Patricia Cameron-Loyd, Deirdre Frontczak, Seiko Fuji, Maggie Levantovskaya, Natalie Linnell)
