Dear campus community,
In today's bargaining session we made a counter-proposal to the Administration on Titles, Promotions, and Course Assignments.
Our next bargaining sessions will be December 8 and 13.
The Administration has initiated a new article: "No Strike/No Lockout." This kind of article is typical,
and ensures that the union does not strike for the life of the contract (though can strike if necessary at
contract expiration) and that the University will not lock out faculty. Today we also presented a counter
proposal on this article.
We are still awaiting a counter-proposal on compensation; the Administration expects to present a counter
in our next bargaining session.
